The 9:11 phenomenon

It’s just a number you notice – you look at clocks automatically all the time when it’s not 9:11, and just don’t notice because the number doesn’t mean anything. It’s like looking at a bunch of scattered scrabble tiles and noticing the word “dog” spelled out – most of the tiles spell nothing, you just notice the ones that do.

Yes, this happens to me all the time. In my car, on my watch, on the oven, on the DVD player – it’s really spooky. I thought it was just me! Apparently this isn’t linked with 9:11, but rather 9 + 1 + 1 = 11, so it’s to do with the 11:11 phenomenon. I thought I was insane, but maybe we both are LOL

Yes. This has happened to me quite often. I’m not even interested in looking at the clock and it’s like for some reason my head is moved in that direction. No other time does this but 9:11 am or pm. It has to be something because like I said I’m not even trying to look for the time and my body instinctively looks at it.

This happens to me too? I was wondering what it means?

I see 9:11 all the time for at least 6 years now! I never realized there were so many ppl. who have too! For some reason, I felt compelled to research this once again, it’s been a while since it’s sparked an interest, because I am so used to it! I’ve been experiencing this until now but somehow i’ve got my own explanation bout this, kinda corny but i believe. before i have lots of question bout existence of man, Jesus, God etc. and i always go for debate bout this matter. whether should I believe or not. until I watched Evan Almighty, so I searched in the bible, Romans 10:9-11. it says that:

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

Well, with this I don’t have any doubt about God. and if they will connect this 11:11 or 9:11 phenomenon with 2012 end of the world prediction, the verses in the bible itself answers it:believe in God and you will be saved.

that’s how i interpret the 9:11 phenomenon.

And yes, I have a strong belief in God as well. Others beliefs??

Thanks, all for the comments. So, I know I’m not alone. But John Bayko your reply came across at 11:11 on Nov.13 I still see 11-11 or 1-11. I normally will tell anyone with me when I see it. Just so someone else knows how often it happens. I still do not know what it means?? Has anyone seen the movie (Knowing)?? It is about the end of times. But, also aleins thrown in there. Ok, I don’t beleive in aleins. But the number factor is very interesting. Also, a time capsule in 1956 the year I was born? I do think it is connected to the bible & or the end of times. But why do I see it?? I beleive in God but I don’t belong to a church. But in the movie “Knowing” Basicly if you see certain numbers you are the chosen ones??Please let me know your thoughts “even if you think I am off my rocker”

This is in respone to ‘freaky’s’ post….I don’t think it has anything to do with 9/11 the date. Let me just say, if you seen that time everyday, for years, you wouldn’t be laughing at this at all.

Ive had the same experience. Every day i check my phone to see if i have any text messagesz and it just happens to be 9:10 or 9:11. I havent gotten to an explanation asz to why it happens but i hope to soon find out

For the past 5 or 6 years I’ve been seeing 9:11 on the clock all of the time. At first I just thought it was coincedince that I was seeing it. But the more I see it the more I beleive there is a bigger picture that I’m missing. Now no matter when I see it I point it out no matter who I’m with followed with an explanation of the whole importance to me of the numbers 9 and 11. Also I was born on 09/11/72. Now my girlfriend sees it all of the time too, she never noticed it until I mentioned it to her but now she sees it almost as much as I do. We also play alot of pool and we both notice that the 9 ball and 11 ball seem to always find a way to come to rest near eachother. Just today in Houston the pick 5 lotto numbers, the first two numbers were 9 and 11. I see these two numbers every day somewhere, if not on the clock then it will appear in a different way. I wish I had an explanation for this but for now I guess it’s not for me to understand

Hello my name is Flor and i have been seeing 911 everywhere also for eight years now i thought mabey it will go away but never did and just last night finally googled it and WOW im not the only one.

This has also happened to me, but, it started in Aug 2001. I didn’t know what it meant at the time, only that just over a month later 9-11-01 happened. What’s even stranger is that I still keep seeing it, whether it be 9:11am or 9:11pm, sometimes twice in the same day, others, just once a day. I don’t know the meaning of it, but it sure in the hell freaks me out.

It’s happened to me to! I know what you will think when i say this but I always seem to look at a clock at 4:20 lol

My own personal variation on the them is the 11:34 time. I’ve had this for over 20 years now…often falling asleep early evening and waking up to see it at 11:34pm and even (in the past, before I had to get up early…grrr) again in the morning at 11:34am. What made this noticeable for me, was that on my old school RED LED Radio/Alarm clock 11:34 seen upside down spells out “hell” *cue Twilight Zone muzak…*

I wonder if all the affected people are Christians. I am.

Alright guys, me and my dad have been noticing this way to often for it to be a coinsedince*, just the other day my dad was on the tractor,(had no cell phone, clockIatch or anything),so i was talking to him asking him when he would be done, then all of a sudden he was like, “Joe what time is it? I said ” 3:11″ its like we both have an instinct to look at the clock at any number with :11 at the end, but for me it is mostly 9:11.

Forward:
For too many reasons to explain here, I removed the clock, Tv, radio, phone etc… from bedroom, years ago (which is a good idea for anyone if you are able to do so). Removing these items from my bedroom has nothing to do with the point being made, it’s just healthier and it gives me less opportunity to see the number that I see all the time.

The set up:
(The last 3 nights of the middle of August 2011: 8/11/11, 8/12/11, 8/13/11) I went to bed at 2am last night, 1am the night before, and 3 am respectively. Each morning I woke up and had a slightly different routine before going to the kitchen and seeing the time. However, When I got to the kitchen and looked at the clock for the first time of the day I saw the time was exactly 9:11 AM. On the 2nd day I went to the bathroom first, and on the 3rd day I stretched first and opened the window and sat back on my bed to breath deep for a few minutes, before going to the kitchen. Still the clock read 9:11. Had I changed any of that “routine”, the clock would have read differently.

This has been happening for years, or least for as long as I have paid attention. Not everyday obviously, but 3 days in a row? WHAT THE HECK, right???

WHAT is the world trying to tell me? What is it that I am not understanding? I started seeing 911 everywhere about 5 years ago. I saw it so frequently that I started to share my experience with friends/family. The ones that I really got into depth with telling my phenomenal story to, the ones who really listened and were a little weird-ed out by it, are now seeing it too. I get texts every other day from friends saying “there it is again”, or they send me pictures of where they are seeing 911. Receipts, License plates, clocks, anything that posts a series of numbers… I pulled a frozen turkey last year out of a bin of turkeys at the store and pulled the only one that cost $9.11. Last month, I pulled a winning ticket out of a drawing pool for a drawing at work and from over 1000 tickets guess what the last 3 numbers were? 911. All I could do was laugh.

What it means:
We see these numbers because ………………………. We tell ourselves to. We have programmed the fastest most intricate computer in the world (our brains) to see remind us that we WANTED to see that number, WE ARE subconsciously looking for it. My friends I mentioned above; the one I spoke in depth with about my number problem… all see it now because they’re looking for it, because of the conversation we had, now every time they see it, it will remind them of our chat, therefore making another synapses in the brain to connect themselves to that number.

The fact is:
I woke up 13,000 other days in my life without seeing 9:11 on the clock, I get behind HUNDREDS of cars that don’t have 911 on the plate, I’ve eaten dozens of turkey dinners that didn’t cost $9.11. We see what what want to see, and things mean what we want them to mean. It’s freewill.

The Point:
There is only a point if you want there to be one. Pick another number randomly and etch it in your brain to remember it. Associate it with something important (hopefully not 1000′s of people dying, like on 911, making it even creepier) Choose a date that means something to you. If one is failing you right now…. Here I will do it for you …………..

There you just saw it 3 times… welcome to your new number. You will see it again, and when you do you will be reminded of this post. You will be reminded of the time you went searching for meaning for the number you have been haunting yourself with and read the post that cleared it up for you… And made life a little less stressful. So 320 now has meaning enough to make you associate it with something important, the day you stopped worrying about what the number you keep seeing means, the day you educated yourself to unconscious associations and meaningless random thoughts… Why do we associate pipes with our grandfather, why do we associate the smell of gasoline with vacations, or associate lime green with our neighbors basement when we were 7 years old… (just a few of mine) because we’ve trained ourselves to do so… When I said PIPE’S above you instantly think of what a pipe reminds you of, or the smell of gasoline, or the site of the color lime green… It’s the same thing with these numbers you are seeing. It’s meaningless unless it means something to you. 911 was a very important/tragic/memorable day, so once the numbers took on that connotation, they stuck out. Whether they continue to mean something to me/us is completely up to me/us… It’s been over 5 years, There have been deaths, births, weddings, good times and bad. None of which have anything to do with whether I saw 911 that day or not.
